"The main topic that was addressed in this meeting was from Sharon Harris TREC (Texas Real Estate Commission) attorney. She went over cases from Houston, Dallas, Killeen and the Corrigan Texas areas where they found individuals guilty of certain violations.

The property management industry is being faced with strict guidelines for compliance as to how they conduct their day to day business, record keeping and maintaining high standards as to their service to the community while also screening their Real Estate agents and employees for registered licenses etc.

The Property Management Texas Style conference was very educational because I learned that they also have to abide by their industry laws just as we do under the Fair Credit Report Act.
