Our Legacy

As we approach 2019, our 112th year, we wish our employees, customers, business partners and friends the happiest of holidays! Since 1907, it has been our privilege and honor to serve the people of Texas and their business needs. What started as a local credit information coop created by a few San Antonio merchants, has now grown into one of the largest, multi-dimensional financial services companies in Texas. We are proud of this legacy of service, integrity and growth in the state of Texas.

Our Transition

After 112 years, we still serve, but we also must adapt to change. Through the years, consumer information services have consolidated; while others have acquired more select services. And so, as of December 26, 2018, we will focus on our customized and specialized financial services more closely related to challenges our customers are encountering. We will no longer serve as an exclusive agent for consumer credit information for Chicago-based TransUnion. Sarma will continue to provide our unique suite of services to meet our communities’ and clients’ needs.

Our Future

In 2019, we will focus on our suite of services to meet our clients’ exclusive needs. We think this effort and allocation of resources will better serve our customers’ specific interests. We will continue to feature our tailored services—such as Mortgage Lenders Services, Background Screening Services, Tenant Screening Services and third-party bad debt consumer collection services. Our Sarma Data Systems (SDS) platform will continue with no change to be available to all our customers, offering access to a host of public record information, skip tracing tools, multi-vendor consumer credit report access and Experian Business reports. Sarma Major Account Representatives will continue to be your point of contact for our suite of services and will be reaching out to you in the new year to ensure access to our services and answer any questions. In addition, throughout 2019 and beyond, we will introduce new or refined product lines and markets. Watch for the latest as our legacy of service, integrity and growth continues in 2019—and the next 112 years!
